No real reason; maybe just to psych out your opponent. Variety is always fun. - Yes, there is only ONE Pokemon in this deck. Some people just said, "Huh? You're an idiot". That may be true. Others know the real reason behind it. Remember, this deck is made so that you run your opponent out of cards. So, we're going to abuse the "Mulligan" rule; the fewer the number of Basic Pokemon in the deck, the more cards that your opponent draws for the Mulligan. So, the odds are that your opponent will be drawing about ten (10) cards for a mulligan. This means a seventeen card hand. See? Now you know. - The only thing you really need to do is KEEP THAT LITTLE BUGGER NAMED CHANSEY ALIVE! That's what all of the Potions, Super Potions and Pokemon Centers are for. Remember, you're not going to attack with Chansey; all you need to do is Scrunch -- that means play a maximum of two Energy cards on Chansey at a time. You're either going to discard both of them to a Pokemon Center, or one to a Super Potion or Super Energy Removal. - DON'T PLAY SCOOP UP IF ONLY CHANSEY IS IN PLAY! YOU'LL AUTOMATICALLY LOSE! Play a Clefairy Doll on your bench first. Then use Scoop Up on Chansey, which by default, moves the Clefairy Doll to your Active Position. Then play Chansey back on your Bench. You can either leave the Clefairy Doll there for a turn, (letting it get slain), or you can discard it immediately (moving Chansey up to your active rank). - Since the effectiveness of Impostor Prof. Oak is somewhat limited, you want to play it when your opponent has three or less cards in his or her hand. If your opponent has a large starting hand from the Mulligans, you're going to have to wait a while. - Both types of Energy Removals as stall cards. Use them to prevent your opponent from attacking. - Gust of Wind is also another stall card. Use it to bring out a Evolved Pokemon, without the necessary Energy to retreat. If this is one of the big ones (Bastoise, Alakazam, Zapdos), this should buy you some time. - The Full Heal is there just in case you get Poisoned. - Don't play this deck at a tournament! People will beat you up for playing a deck like this. -----------------------------------------------------------------
